Binance, a leading global cryptocurrency platform, has expanded its services to users in Benin, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Togo, and Senegal. Through local partnerships, Binance now allows users in these countries to purchase cryptocurrencies directly via mobile money payments. This initiative supports Binance’s goal of increasing financial inclusion across Africa.
Samantha Fuller, Binance’s spokesperson, highlighted the importance of this expansion, stating that it enables millions in West and Central Africa to engage with the global digital economy more easily. Currently, the service supports only BUY transactions, providing a simplified entry point for new crypto users.
