YZY Memecoin Sniped by TRUMP and LIBRA Investor

Blockchain analytics firm Bubblemaps has uncovered striking on-chain patterns linking Ye’s newly launched YZY memecoin to a familiar player in the memecoin world. According to the firm’s research, a wallet known as AwY1V was among the first to buy YZY on the day of its Solana blockchain launch, acquiring $250,000 worth of tokens within hours of trading opening on August 21.

The address shows direct ties to other wallets that previously profited from high-profile token launches such as TRUMP, LIBRA, and HAWK. Bubblemaps analysts believe the wallet belongs to an investor identified as Naseem, who has become notorious for landing at the front of some of the most explosive memecoin rallies of the year. Earlier in 2024, Naseem reportedly turned a $1.1 million TRUMP memecoin bet into more than $100 million, a move that placed him in the spotlight of crypto insiders.

In the case of YZY, AwY1V’s timing was once again profitable. The wallet offloaded a portion of the $250,000 initial buy for $800,000 while still holding roughly $600,000 in YZY tokens. Despite this early profit, YZY’s meteoric rise quickly crashed. After briefly hitting a $3 billion market cap in just 40 minutes, the token has since plunged to around $200 million, a staggering 93% drop from its peak.

The repeated success of this investor has raised new questions about the fairness of memecoin markets. Analysts are debating whether Naseem’s wins are the result of unmatched skill, deep industry connections, or possible insider access. With links across multiple high-profile launches, his wallet activity has become one of the most closely watched stories in memecoin trading.
