Indian fintech Mswipe is making its entry into the UK market through a partnership with Cashflows, leveraging an acquiring BIN sponsorship model. The Mumbai-based company, which serves 800,000 merchants in India, will now use Cashflows’ UK acquiring license to operate as an acquirer in the UK.
Under the partnership, Mswipe will manage merchant onboarding, pricing, settlement terms, and processing while utilizing its existing proprietary technology. Cashflows will provide the infrastructure for regulatory compliance and efficient financial flow, enabling Mswipe to focus on merchant acquisition and management.
Cashflows CEO Hannah Fitzsimons described the partnership as a “game-changer,” stating: “We’re breaking new ground by offering Mswipe the ability to function as an acquirer in the UK without the substantial time, cost, and regulatory hurdles typically associated with market entry.”
Manish Patel, MD of Mswipe, added: “Through this strategic partnership, we are committed to leveraging our robust technology platform to create a seamless payment ecosystem that empowers businesses in the UK.”
This move marks Mswipe’s first expansion outside India, positioning it to compete in the UK’s growing fintech market.
