Latvian Investment Platform Mintos Secures €2M in Debt Funding for European Growth

Mintos raises €2M from FlyCap to expand across Europe and enhance its multi-asset investment platform’s user base.

Mintos, a leading multi-asset investment platform based in Latvia, has raised €2 million in debt funding, further enhancing its growth potential in the European Union. The funds were provided by Latvian growth capital fund FlyCap, marking another step in Mintos’ expansion strategy.

Mintos offers a mix of alternative and traditional investment options, allowing users to manage diversified portfolios under a single platform. With the latest funding, Mintos plans to accelerate its customer acquisition efforts across Europe and extend its platform’s reach to a broader audience of investors. The company aims to streamline investment processes and improve platform efficiency.

The new funding comes on the heels of a strong financial year for Mintos. The platform saw a 30% revenue increase, from €8.8 million in 2022 to €11.4 million in 2023, and achieved a net profit of over €650,000. With over €600 million in assets under administration, Mintos continues to strengthen its market presence, particularly in Germany and Spain.

Mintos CEO and co-founder Martins Sulte expressed confidence in the company’s future, stating, “This raised capital, along with proceeds from our successful crowdfunding efforts, will enable us to propel our growth and reach a wider audience of future investors.”

Mintos recently expanded into Portugal and the Czech Republic, aligning with its goal of increasing its European footprint. The platform’s previous crowdfunding campaign raised €3.1 million from over 3,300 investors, demonstrating strong support from the investment community.
