Visa has partnered with CARD91 to streamline the issuance of Forex Cards on the Visa network. This collaboration integrates Visa’s global digital payments infrastructure with CARD91’s issuance platform-as-a-service solutions, improving the experience for both cardholders and issuers.

Key Features of the Partnership:

  • Faster Card Issuance: Regulated entities can issue Forex Cards to their customers quickly and efficiently.

  • Transaction Monitoring: The partnership provides comprehensive transaction monitoring and fraud risk management capabilities through CARD91’s platform.

Sujai Raina, Visa India’s country manager, noted that this collaboration will simplify the complexities of Forex Card issuance, making it easier for Indians to manage their spending abroad, whether for business, education, or leisure.

Ajay Pandey, CEO of CARD91, emphasized that combining Visa’s payments expertise with CARD91’s technology creates a powerful synergy, enhancing the card issuance experience.

CARD91, launched in August 2020, aims to simplify the process of rolling out co-branded card programs by offering a plug-and-play solution. The company believes the next wave of credit users in India will access cards issued by various brands and businesses.

In a separate initiative, Visa also partnered with Danish FinTech Cardlay to improve spend management for commercial card issuers by combining Cardlay’s platform with Visa’s global network and data capabilities.
