Crypto.com has announced the launch of its prepaid card in Bahrain, leveraging a Mastercard Principal Licence and its Payment Service Provider licence from the Central Bank of Bahrain. This marks a strategic move to broaden its presence across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
The Crypto.com card enables users to make purchases at over 150 million in-store and online locations worldwide, spanning all five card tiers, including the premium Black Obsidian, which offers rewards of up to 8% on spending. Cards can be funded through the app using e-money wallets or third-party credit and debit cards.
