Foresight Group Invests in Business Verification Platform AsiaVerify

Foresight Group has made a growth capital investment into AsiaVerify, a RegTech business verification platform providing real-time corporate intelligence across Asia to support compliance and risk management.

Foresight Group (Foresight) — a multinational private equity, infrastructure and growth capital investor — has completed a growth capital investment into AsiaVerify Limited (“AsiaVerify”), a Singapore-based business verification and corporate intelligence platform focused on the Asia-Pacific region.

AsiaVerify is a RegTech platform that draws on official data across 14 Asian jurisdictions to provide global businesses with real-time insights on more than 447 million entities, including ownership structures, risk indicators, regulatory compliance status and other critical corporate information — all via a unified interface.

The investment is part of Foresight’s strategy to support fast-growing, technology-led companies and aims to accelerate AsiaVerify’s commercial expansion, product development and market penetration, particularly in meeting rising demand for trusted and timely corporate verification across complex Asian markets.

Meeting Rising Regulatory and Compliance Demands

As global supply chains and investment flows deepen throughout Asia, corporations, financial institutions and regulators face increasing pressure to understand counterparty risk, ownership transparency and compliance obligations — especially in regions with fragmented data sources and regulatory structures.

Traditional business verification and risk-assessment methods have often relied on siloed or outdated records, especially in emerging markets where data quality can vary widely. AsiaVerify’s platform addresses these challenges by combining authoritative registry information with tech-driven tools to deliver near-real-time corporate intelligence from across Asia, helping organisations make faster, more confident decisions.

According to Foresight, this growing need for robust verification capabilities — including ownership and beneficial ownership mapping, sanctions screening and ongoing monitoring — underscores the strategic importance of AsiaVerify’s offering in today’s regulatory environment.

What AsiaVerify Does

Founded in 2019, AsiaVerify’s platform aggregates company data — including shareholder and beneficial owner information — from official sources across 14 Asian jurisdictions. Its core features include:

  • Real-time access to corporate profiles and structures
  • Risk indicators and compliance data, such as sanctions and regulatory flags
  • Ownership transparency, including shareholding and beneficial ownership mapping
  • Entity verification tools to support Know-Your-Business (KYB) and ongoing due-diligence workflows

The platform is designed to support enterprise due diligence, compliance operations, onboarding teams and risk functions for multinational corporations, financial institutions and digital platforms operating in and beyond Asia.

AsiaVerify’s capabilities have recently expanded with solutions such as AI-powered UBO (ultimate beneficial owner) mapping and ongoing monitoring tools that help continuous compliance, underscoring the company’s role as a next-generation RegTech partner for complex global operations.

Strategic Growth and Foresight’s Support

Foresight’s growth capital investment will enable AsiaVerify to scale sales and commercial resources, develop new product features and respond to the expanding global demand for compliant business verification across fast-growing markets.

“Regulators increasingly require more stringent business verification, which in the Asia Pacific region can be particularly difficult to complete,” said Salim Chantler, Senior Investment Manager at Foresight, highlighting the platform’s role in disrupting traditional verification markets by offering high-quality data with reduced lead times and lower costs.

The investment also reflects broader trends in RegTech adoption, where digital tools are increasingly integrated into compliance, risk and onboarding workflows to manage regulatory complexity, mitigate risk and speed up partner and customer onboarding.

Why This Matters for Global Firms

For multinational businesses and financial institutions, understanding who they do business with — and how corporate risk evolves — has become a strategic imperative. With regulatory scrutiny increasing around areas such as beneficial ownership transparency, sanctions compliance and cross-border risk monitoring, platforms like AsiaVerify offer critical visibility into entities operating in dynamic markets.

AsiaVerify’s platform can help:

  • Streamline global onboarding and compliance checks
  • Support continuous monitoring of ownership and risk signals
  • Reduce manual effort and reliance on disparate data sources
  • Enhance confidence in risk decisions across complex supply chains

By bolstering AsiaVerify’s development and expansion, Foresight aims to help the RegTech continue to serve both local and global businesses navigating compliance challenges — particularly in regions where corporate data fragmentation has historically posed operational challenges.
