This change comes after Romain Mazeries, a founding team member who has led the company for the past six years, steps down from his role.

Sergi Herrero, renowned for his results-driven approach and extensive experience in the payments sector, steps into the CEO role with a strong track record. Previously, Sergi was the Global Director for Payments and Commerce Partnerships at Meta, where he played a crucial role in launching and expanding its payment and commerce services. His impressive career also includes senior executive positions at Square and BNP Paribas, as well as serving as Co-CEO of global telecommunications giant VEON.
