Irish Fintech ZeroRisk Secures $4 Million in Funding Led by Elkstone

Irish fintech ZeroRisk, a provider of compliance and cyber risk management tools for the payments industry, has raised $4 million in a funding round led by Elkstone. Founded in 2023, ZeroRisk simplifies Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance and offers real-time data insights for acquiring banks, payment service providers, and digital sellers.

The platform enables users to manage merchant risk and compliance, including adherence to the PCI Data Security Standard and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. With real-time analytics and dynamic risk scoring, ZeroRisk helps organizations identify vulnerabilities and mitigate cyber risks before they escalate.

Gary Nolan, co-founder and CEO of ZeroRisk, stated, “Our platform sets a new standard for merchant risk management, addressing not only cybersecurity but broader compliance challenges. This funding will help us scale globally and continue delivering innovative solutions.”

The company plans to expand its operations, particularly in the US market, where it already serves several Tier 1 acquiring banks. ZeroRisk is also hiring for 40 roles across data science, user experience, product development, engineering, and sales and marketing.
