Moment Raises $36M to Automate Fixed Income Workflows

Moment Secures $36M to Revolutionize Fixed Income Automation

Fixed income fintech startup Moment has raised $36 million in Series B funding to further its mission of modernizing bond trading and portfolio management. The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Venrock, Neo, and Contrary Capital.

Moment was founded by a team of technologists who previously built automated credit desks at Citadel Securities and Jane Street—two of the most influential names in quantitative finance. Their new venture aims to bring institutional-grade automation to fixed income teams through a unified platform that merges trading, research, portfolio optimization, reporting, and compliance.

The platform enables clients to execute thousands of trades in seconds using automated rules, manage tax-sensitive portfolios across massive account volumes, and conduct real-time compliance scans on every transaction. AI-powered tools also allow users to generate portfolios from email requests, build transition proposals from PDFs in seconds, and instantly create customized, client-ready reports.

Following a landmark partnership with LPL Financial, the largest independent dealer-broker in the U.S., Moment plans to use the new funding to accelerate growth. The capital will support further R&D, help secure new institutional partnerships, and expand the company’s New York team.

“Demand for fixed-income has exploded, and leading financial institutions are capitalizing on this unique opportunity to seize market share,” said Dylan Parker, CEO of Moment. “These firms are partnering with Moment to co-create the future of fixed income—empowering their teams with a differentiated platform to win new business, unlock eight-figure revenue channels, and genuinely 10x their productivity.”

As traditional fixed income infrastructure struggles to keep up with institutional needs, Moment’s end-to-end automation tools offer a compelling alternative for asset managers and trading firms looking to scale their operations and outpace competitors.
