Western Union has expanded its digital capabilities in Jamaica, allowing more ways for Jamaicans to receive cross-border remittances. The company has integrated its services with GraceKennedy’s GKOne mobile wallet app and Lynk’s mobile wallet app, enabling instant access to funds 24/7 from anywhere. This addition complements over 200 Western Union retail locations across Jamaica and the direct-to-bank account service.
Remittances are a critical financial support for many Jamaicans and a significant contributor to the country’s economy. By integrating with GKOne and Lynk, Western Union, GraceKennedy, and Lynk aim to increase consumer access to digital financial services, providing additional choice, convenience, and speed for receiving money from abroad.
