DNB Ventures Leads €1.7 Million Investment in Fintech Startup Receipts

Oslo-based fintech startup Receipts has secured €1.7 million in a funding round led by DNB Ventures, the venture arm of Den Norske Bank. The round also saw participation from Obos, Såkorn 1 Midt, and Antler.

Receipts specializes in bridging the gap between banks and merchants through a single API suite that enables the seamless sharing of digital receipts. With customer consent, the platform pulls receipts from stores and shares them with banks, accounting platforms, and insurance companies. Additionally, Receipts supports loyalty programs, allowing shoppers to use their payment cards for in-store identification via ‘tap to identify’ technology.

With this investment, DNB Ventures becomes the largest shareholder in Receipts, second only to the company’s founders.

Anders Østensvig, Investment Manager at DNB Ventures, highlighted the potential for collaboration and knowledge exchange between DNB and Receipts, emphasizing that the partnership goes beyond financial support.
