myPOS Acquires UTP Group to Strengthen UK Payment Solutions

London-based fintech company myPOS has acquired UTP Group, a UK payments provider specializing in card machines, tap-to-pay solutions, and e-commerce payment services for SMEs. The deal, whose financial details remain undisclosed, marks myPOS’s second acquisition this year following its purchase of French cash register firm Toporder earlier in 2024.

UTP, founded in 2013, brings an established client base and direct sales network to myPOS, enhancing its ability to serve small and medium-sized businesses across the UK. The acquisition aligns with myPOS’s strategy to expand its payment infrastructure and offer more flexible, cost-effective solutions to merchants.
