ACI Worldwide has unveiled ACI Connetic, a next-generation, cloud-native payments hub that unifies account-to-account (A2A) transactions, card payments, and AI-driven fraud prevention on a single platform. The rollout marks a major step in simplifying the payments infrastructure for banks and financial institutions by eliminating fragmented, siloed systems.
The platform supports a wide range of payment types including SWIFT cross-border transactions, real-time gross settlement systems like Target2, and instant payment services such as SEPA Instant RT1 and TIPS. ACI plans to expand the platform’s capabilities further in the future.
In a major collaborative effort, ACI Worldwide is working with leading global payment bodies including the Bank of England, Pay.UK, the European Central Bank, EBA Clearing, Stet, SWIFT, the U.S. Federal Reserve, and The Clearing House to ensure seamless integration of various payment flows.
“We built ACI Connetic to give banks a future-proof foundation to meet the ever-increasing demand for faster, smarter and secure payments,” said Scotty Perkins, head of product for banking and intermediaries at ACI Worldwide. “Built for scalability, intelligence and resilience, ACI Connetic empowers banks to reduce complexity, accelerate product innovation and deliver new solutions to their customers in an unprecedented way and at unprecedented speed.”
ACI Connetic will be showcased at EBAday 2025, Europe’s premier event for payment and transaction banking leaders, highlighting its potential to transform the global financial ecosystem.
