E6 and DCS Launch Groundbreaking Credit Card Service for Fintechs in Singapore

Episode Six (E6), a pioneer in payments and banking infrastructure, has partnered with Singapore’s DCS Card Centre (DCS) to introduce a revolutionary Credit Card-as-a-Service tailored for fintech firms in Singapore.

This groundbreaking collaboration empowers fintech companies to issue their own branded credit cards directly from their customer interfaces, marking a significant leap in the accessibility and speed of credit card issuance.

Thanks to E6’s advanced technology, the time required to launch a new credit card has been drastically reduced from the industry standard of four to six months to just a few weeks, promising a rapid turnaround for fintech innovators.

By combining the strengths of both companies, the collaboration has created a unified platform aimed at streamlining the regulatory, operational, and technical complexities associated with launching credit card services, paving the way for accelerated innovation within the fintech sector.

The service also includes a feature for creating virtual accounts that support deposits through bank transfers or digital assets using DCS tokens, offering fintechs unparalleled flexibility and functionality in managing their financial products.

Initially introduced in Singapore, the service is poised for expansion into other Asia Pacific markets, catering to the growing demand for embedded financial services across the region.

John Mitchell, CEO, and Co-founder of Episode Six, expressed his optimism about the collaboration, stating, “Fintechs leveraging this solution will benefit from the advantages of a modernized cloud-native payment system – resilience, scalability, and security. Embedded finance is reshaping our interaction with financial services and driving innovation in the industry.”

Ceridwen Choo, CEO of DCS Innov, a subsidiary of DCS established in February 2024 to lead digital innovation, emphasized the strategic significance of the partnership in establishing a robust infrastructure to lead in embedded payments in Singapore and beyond. “Embedded finance, particularly card payments, is a priority for fintechs aiming to scale their operations. With E6’s robust APIs and global presence, we are well-positioned to support fintechs and other brands seeking to integrate payments into their platforms.”
