PayPal and Fiserv Strengthen Partnership to Enhance U.S. Checkout Processes

PayPal and Fiserv have expanded their strategic partnership to improve checkout experiences in the U.S., integrating PayPal’s payment solutions with Fiserv’s digital platform. This collaboration aims to provide a smoother and more efficient payment process for consumers and businesses.

PayPal Holdings has announced an expanded global partnership with Fiserv, which will enhance how Fiserv’s merchant clients integrate PayPal’s services. This development builds on their long-standing collaboration, already benefiting millions of businesses. Consequently, the enhanced partnership simplifies the integration of PayPal, Venmo, and related services, while also introducing Fastlane by PayPal, designed to accelerate guest checkout flows in the U.S.

Frank Keller, Executive Vice President and General Manager of PayPal’s Large Enterprise and Merchant Platform Group, expressed enthusiasm for the deeper collaboration. “We’re excited to broaden our reach with Fiserv and extend our innovative solutions to more businesses,” he stated. “This partnership underscores our dedication to improving checkout convenience by partnering with top payment service providers and e-commerce platforms.”

For over a decade, Fiserv and PayPal have worked together on various merchant and payment solutions, including payment processes, payouts, network services, and e-commerce capabilities. It enables purchases in as little as one click, with guest shoppers using Fastlane converting over 80% of the time. Consequently, it achieves up to 50% higher conversion rates and reduces checkout time by 32%.
