BLIK Launches Payment service for Tatra Banka Customers
Poland-based payment service provider BLIK has officially completed its integration with Tatra banka, making its mobile payment solutions available to the bank’s customers. This move follows BLIK’s announcement in July 2024 of expanding its partnership with Tatra banka to enhance online purchasing experiences.
Successful Integration and User Experience
Since BLIK’s initial launch in Slovakia in 2023, following its merger with VIAMO, the payment service provider has been diligently working to extend its capabilities. Consequently, BLIK continues to enhance its services and expand its reach.
With the new system in place, users of the Tatra banka VIAMO app can now perform payments through BLIK by generating a 6-digit code in the app and entering it on the payment page. After this step, users have complete visibility over transaction details and can confirm transactions securely with their PIN. This method aims to offer increased convenience, speed, and security for users.
Enhancing Convenience and Security in Payment Services
By integrating BLIK into its service offerings, Tatra banka aims to enhance its range of payment options and optimize user experience. The decision aligns with the growing demand for secure and convenient payment methods. Partnership with PayU and Future Plans
PayU, a pioneer in supporting BLIK in Slovakia, now enables Tatra banka VIAMO app users to pay at online stores using PayU’s gateway. Building on their successful Polish partnership, PayU aims to enhance local e-commerce by continuing its collaboration with BLIK in Slovakia.
Moreover, BLIK has plans to extend its services to more banks across Slovakia in the near future. As BLIK continues to grow, it promises to bring even more innovations and convenience to the Slovak market.
