Saldo Bank and Enfuce Launch New Payment Card
A Strategic Partnership
Lithuania’s Saldo Bank has joined forces with Enfuce to unveil its inaugural payment card programme. This exciting collaboration aims to propel the neobank’s expansion across the Nordics and the Baltics. The move underscores Enfuce’s dedication to enhancing banking experiences for both digital and traditional banks throughout Europe. Their client roster includes Kvika Bank, Alisa Bank, Memo Bank, and Indo Bank, reflecting their broad industry reach.
Enhanced Payment Solutions
The partnership marks Saldo Bank’s entry into the payment services arena with a new Visa credit card programme. Known for its advanced real-time onboarding and credit scoring capabilities, Saldo Bank has integrated these cutting-edge features into its latest credit card offering. This innovation ensures that credit decisions are made instantly, facilitating fully automated card issuance.
Enfuce is set to deliver over 60,000 bespoke open-loop Visa credit and debit cards—both physical and virtual. These tokenized cards provide Saldo Bank’s expanding Finnish customer base with a streamlined way to manage payments directly. Customers can now handle revolving credit and new credit line applications seamlessly, avoiding the hassle of transferring funds between different institutions.
Elevating Customer Experience
Monika Liikamaa, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Enfuce, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “Saldo Bank is a trailblazer in banking innovation in our region. We are excited to collaborate on creating customized, scalable payment card solutions. These new cards will significantly enhance the credit access experience for Saldo Bank’s customers, reinforcing our commitment to innovative and responsible lending practices. This partnership will boost customer acquisition and engagement.”
Jarkko Mäensivu, CEO of Saldo Bank, highlighted the strategic significance of this launch: “Introducing a credit card programme aligns with our growth strategy by diversifying our product range and reaching a broader customer base. We selected Enfuce as our payment partner due to their advanced technology and proven track record in crafting tailored solutions. This collaboration has allowed us to launch an innovative card programme without investing in an in-house processing solution.”
Recent Developments and Future Plans
Since July, Saldo Bank and Enfuce have added new features to their payment card programme. In August, they launched a partnership card with Finnish ice hockey club Jokerit, providing exclusive benefits to sports fans. This partnership enhances Enfuce’s European presence and supports Nordic companies.
